Getting to Romania
  • Europe: Direct flights to Bucharest Otopeni (OTP). Alternative: train or bus from neighboring countries.
  • Asia: Fastest via Istanbul, Doha, or Dubai to Bucharest. Alternative: European hubs like Frankfurt or Paris.
  • Africa: Fastest via Istanbul. Alternative: Paris, Rome connections.
  • North America: Direct NYC–Bucharest (seasonal). Alternative: via Frankfurt, London, or Amsterdam.
  • South America: Fastest via Madrid/Lisbon. Alternative: Frankfurt or Istanbul.
  • Australia & Oceania: Fastest via Dubai/Doha/Singapore. Alternative: London or Frankfurt.
Reaching Buzău from airports
  • From Otopeni (OTP): Direct train via Gara de Nord to Buzău (fastest). Alternative: shuttle/bus to Bucharest then train/bus.
  • From other Romanian airports: Domestic flight/train to Bucharest, then continue to Buzău.
Local transit to the venue
  1. From train/bus station, locate the nearest bus stop (check Google Maps).
  2. Take Bus 5 towards Horticolei.
  3. Get off at Dorobanti 118bis.
  4. Walk 2–3 minutes to Liceul Teoretic de Informatică “Alexandru Marghiloman”.

  3. Proceed to your allocated room.

  • Plan for traffic between Bucharest and Buzău; trains are often more reliable.
  • Use Google Maps for live bus/train directions.
  • Have your QR code/ID ready (printed or digital).
  • Keep cash in RON for transport or small purchases.
  • Bring chargers, adapters, and backups for electronics.
  • Pack warm clothing and waterproof gear; late February weather can be unpredictable.
